Job Description:

Is craft beer a passion of yours? Do you enjoy the process of making beverages? Do you have a well-rounded knowledge of brewing and beer styles? You may be the perfect fit for our cellar/ brewer position. 8th Wonder Brewery is expanding and looking to add members to the team! We're looking for highly motivated people with a high attention to detail and an affinity for technical brewing. In this role you will have to maintain and execute all functions according to policy and procedure, safety requirements, and best practice. Tasks include but are not limited to all aspects of raw materials handling, work production, fermentation monitoring, yeast pitching, clarification, finished beer monitoring, equipment CIP, and general sanitation.

Reports to: Head Brewer

Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:

• Execute all cleaning, sanitation, and preparatory tasks for tanks to receive wort and finished beer

• Wort/Seltzer Production

• Milling Grains

• Cleaning and Sanitizing of Fermenters

• Check specific gravity of fermenting beer to ensure dry hops and yeast harvests are done at the optimal time

• Ensure that all beer is produced to standards and specification by following recipes and procedures as set by 8W Brewmaster

• Ability to assist in canning line process when needed

• All team members are responsible for multi-tasking and applying broad & complete knowledge of the entire brewing process. Producing the highest quality beer is our number one goal.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma - Formal brewing education or Bachelor’s degree preferred

• Ability to work and communicate well with all staff

• Organized and detail oriented; accurate record keeping skills

• Basic troubleshooting skills in a brewing/manufacturing setting

• Valid driver’s license

• Ability to safely operate a forklift/pallet jack 

Physical Requirements:

• Lift 55 lbs from ground to shoulder high

• Lift 110 lbs from ground to waist high and moving 150 lbs along the floor

• Climb stairs, ramps, and ladders

• Work in warehouse style settings 

• Work safely with chemicals

• Work safely in loud environments

Job Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced and results driven Ecommerce Manager to join our team at Bayou City Hemp and 8th Wonder.  If you have experience with the Shopify platform and/or in the food and beverage industry and CPG space this could be the right role for you. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing our ecommerce strategy to drive online sales of each of our brands. This position will be involved with the look and feel of our websites and is responsible for generating sales via online channels. This role requires knowledge of attribution modeling, website speed optimization, A/B testing, conversion management, sales journey optimization, traffic analysis, and reporting tools. This role will also work closely with our Social Media Manager to ensure we are aligned and focused on the right metrics to achieve consistent sales growth.

Reports to: Chief Brand and Marketing Officer

Job Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Manage and oversee all e-commerce focused digital marketing strategies

• Oversee all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and A/B testing and reporting

• Proven ability to build and grow an online presence through consistent data analysis

• Implement an ecommerce strategy in order to improve website performance, collaborate with developers to improve website speed

• Ensuring websites are optimized for mobile devices and ensure they are updated for SEO

• Research market performance in order to discover new trends and technologies in order to improve website performance

• Analyze various data to deliver strategies that will build top performance and achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly KPIs

• Directly manage digital marketing channels across PPC, SEO, Display, affiliates and email marketing and social media

• Develop a content calendar in collaboration with the marketing team and oversee website uploads and landing pages development

• Ability to effectively communicate website performance and analytics to various leadership team

• Ability to implement digital marketing concepts such as PPC, SEO, social media, display and affiliate channels.

• Experience developing and overseeing retail and eCommerce-focused digital marketing strategies.

• Proven experience with UX, Shopify, Klaviyo and Google Analytics.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in digital marketing, marketing or a related field.

• Proven minimum of 7 years experience in an e-commerce or data analytics role

• Proven knowledge of attribution modelling, website speed optimization, sales journey optimization and more

• Experience with UX, web design, customer flow and web analysis. 

• High level of experience in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Dreamweaver and Google Analytics

• Strong MarTech background with experience managing a marketing and/or tech team is a plus

• Ability to work in a team setting and handle constructive criticism and feedback

• Assist GPL in all aspects of manufacturing of gummies

• Perform duties necessary for continuous operations.

• Perform equipment maintenance and maintain an organized and clean laboratory environment.

• Follow Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) to produce high quality products.

• Understand and follow all safety protocols.

• Ability to work in a team setting to achieve daily goals, weekly forecasts and monthly KPI’s

• Strong communication skills

• Monitor system operations and perform tests as required.

• Record data for all procedures using computer systems and/or hard copy, whichever is appropriate.
