This role will include bartending shifts at the taproom as well as representing 8th Wonder at events off-site, as needed.

Job Summary:

The Field Marketing Manager (FMM) is a dedicated brand resource within the company, anchored in a focus market, and responsible for driving consumer awareness and growth for Bayou City Hemp and 8th Wonder across all categories. Through the direction of the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) the FMM is a multi-channel consumer marketing expert that will serve as the voice and face for Bayou City Hemp and 8th Wonder within the local market.


Reports to: Chief Revenue Officer

Job Responsibilities including, but not limited to:

  • Channel Consumer Programming:
  • Local expert and calendar owner of all regional field marketing activities
  • Local subject matter expert for 360 merchandising look of success
  • Serve as a resource to key accounts to develop tailored 360 consumer-centric programs and initiatives that align with Bayou City Hemp/8th Wonder’s core brand objectives, pillars, and messaging.
  • Negotiate and execute localized consumer-centric account programming that ensures optimal brand visibility, utilization, promotions and leveraged sales opportunities.
  • Monitor and evaluate, and report performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance brand presence and profitability.
  • Field Marketing and Program Execution
  • Plan and execute localized field marketing campaigns that align with national brand programs, considering regional nuances and preferences to effectively reach the target audience.
  • Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and manage small team of Brand Ambassadors
  • Manage allocated budgets for the market on Brand Ambassador labor for demos and events, swag, POS, collateral, etc.
  • Support program integration messaging across various marketing channels, including but not limited to, digital platforms, traditional media, PR, Influencer, events, in-store and guerilla programming by providing content from the field
  • Forge strategic partnerships with relevant influencers and brands that align with Bayou City Hemp/8th Wonder’s DNA to amplify program and brand visibility and credibility.
  • Advocacy & Education
  • Act as the primary spokesperson and advocate for Bayou City Hemp/8th Wonder within the local market, delivering training programs, presentations, organizing events, and engaging with stakeholders to promote brand awareness and loyalty.
  • Assist in distributor training and ride-alongs to develop and maintain relationships and drive sales.
  • Consumer & Competitive Insights
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to gather consumer insights, identify trends, and understand competitors’ strategies, providing recommendations to enhance Bayou City Hemp/8th Wonder’s market position.


Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 4 to 5 years of event execution and marketing or sales experience within the beverage or CPG industry
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships within accounts, communities, and organizations.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years leading teams of people along with proven experience managing a budget
  • Ability to create and plan events that incorporate multiple media/channel consumer touch-points
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills
  • Resourceful and understands how to get things done by leveraging opportunities against multiple avenues
  • Willingness to work unconventional hours and know that schedule is dictated by needs of the business with the occasional late nights and weekends
  • Ability to travel out of immediate market as needed

Do you have experience in the confectionary industry? Are you interested in getting your foot in the door of the Texas Hemp Industry? Our role of Gummy Production Technician might be the right fit for you! Bayou City Hemp Company is the first super critical fluid extraction processor in Texas.  As a Gummy Production Technician, you will work closely with the Gummy Production Lead to ensure gummy manufacturing is efficient, cost effective and product is within required spec. • Perform duties necessary for continuous operations.

• Perform equipment maintenance and maintain an organized and clean laboratory environment.

• Follow Company standard operating procedures (SOPs) to produce high quality products.

• Understand and follow all safety protocols.

• Ability to work in a team setting to achieve daily goals, weekly forecasts and monthly KPI’s

• Strong communication skills

• Monitor system operations and perform tests as required.

• Record data for all procedures using computer systems and/or hard copy, whichever is appropriate.

• Ability to use standard office equipment, computer equipment and software including word processing, database management, spreadsheet applications and email.

• Ability to follow directions in utilization of automated equipment and systems.

• Familiarity with basic scientific principles, production terminology and basic math skills.

• Must be able to successfully pass a thorough internal and external background check.

• Forklift certification desired but not required.

OVERNIGHT PRODUCTION LEAD

Our Overnight Production Lead position may be the right fit for you? We are looking for an Overnight Lead that an help us keep up with the high demand of beverages we are producing on a weekly basis. This role is full-time, reports directly to the Production Manager and is located onsite at 8th Wonder Brewery.
