BARTENDER/BRAND AMBASSADOR

Our ideal candidate not only thrives behind the bar, but she or he also enjoys conversing with fellow beer and cannabis enthusiasts. A strong understanding of beer and cannabis is preferred and a willingness to learn more about it is required. Previous hospitality/cannabis experience is a plus. This role will include bartending shifts at the taproom as well as representing 8th Wonder at events off-site, as needed.
Responsibilities include:

As a Territory Sales Rep, your focus will be hitting the pavement, building strong connections with every account in your assigned territory. Your mission? Reports to: VP- Business Development
Job Responsibilities, including but not limited to:
• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the designated territory such as seeking out and engaging prospective customers.
• Review sales data weekly, stay on top of market trends and help shape the strategic future of our brands and effectively communicate findings to the VP- Business Development.
• Introduce accounts to our House of brands, and packages through effective product tastings, vendor demos and event execution.
• Ensure accurate merchandise execution of product across various locations by distributor personnel.
• Collaborate closely with distributor partners to guarantee effective market implementation.
• Cultivate and maintain quality relationships with key decision makers in retail accounts.
• Drive towards exceeding sales volume and distribution goals.
• Manage chain execution with assigned accounts.
• Communicate regularly with the management team to address any issues.
• Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and industry events.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-3 years of sales experience, preferably within the food or beverage industry.
• Knowledge of the craft beer market and/or experience working within the three-tier system.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage complex sales initiatives and portfolios.
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Flexibility to travel as needed, including weekends.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record and reliable transportation with vehicle insurance.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.

The Legal Analyst is responsible for monitoring and analyzing regulatory developments, policies, and legislation specific to the cannabis and alcohol industries both the federal and state level. This role involves collaborating closely with the General Counsel, conducting research, providing insights, and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. To succeed in this role, the Legal Analyst needs to have experience in compliance issues and willing to dive into the cannabis and alcohol industries laws and regulations.
Reports to: General Counsel
Job Responsibilities:
• Stay updated on state and federal regulations governing the cannabis and alcohol industries with an ability to present new information to leadership.
• Analyze complex regulatory frameworks specific to state and federal regulations and provide concise summaries and reports to stakeholders.
• Conduct policy gap analysis at the federal and state level for regulations to identify areas of improvement, potential risks and make recommendations for policy enhancements.
• Review and summarize various contracts and policies to ensure up to date and concise for stakeholder review
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills in order to present data and findings to leadership and stakeholders as needed
• Assist in the development and implementation of compliance programs specific to Texas and other state regulations along with federal requirements to ensure adherence and provide guidance and support to internal teams.
• Conduct internal audits and reviews to assess compliance levels and identify corrective actions.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with various regulatory agencies, federal agencies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
• Participate in meetings, conferences, and industry events specifically to stay informed of industry trends and regulatory developments.
• Act as a representative of the organization in interactions with regulatory authorities, federal agencies, and industry groups.
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in pre-law, business, public policy, or a related field or work experience equivalent.
• Proven experience in compliance, or legal research, preferably in the cannabis or alcohol industry in Texas and/or at the national level.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Previous role or background in paralegal work a plus
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare clear and concise reports for the leadership team
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in working on legal contracts for states outside of Texas a plus
• Excel expert a plus
